GOLD CANYON CANDLES
Achieving a dream takes courage, humility and passion, which are considered to be the true original ingredients behind Curt and Karen Waisath’s dream in launching Gold Canyon®. It began in the Waisaths’ kitchen, where Karen began developing a candle that would permeate her home with a rich fragrance and ambience.
Late in 1997, they developed the perfect candle creation that quickly found a loyal and passionate following. Karen not only created the candle she was seeking through her passionate intuition and innovation, she also found a way to have a career that would allow her to be at home with her children. Soon they discovered people not only loved their richly fragrant candle, but also the opportunity that came with it—the flexibility of a home-based business selling a quality product they could believe in. One year later, Gold Canyon grew from one candle to over 26 fragrances in four different sizes.
Today, thousands have fulfilled their own dreams thanks to the opportunity founded by Curt and Karen. The formula for success is the same as it was in the beginning. A formula that includes the dynamic and passionate community of Demonstrators, the expert Coworkers that have become masters of their craft and the hundreds of distinct fragrances and products that remain the soul and spirit of Gold Canyon. Each fragrance is still carefully approved by Karen today to ensure Gold Canyon delivers on its brand promise as “The World’s Finest”. The mission of Gold Canyon continues to move forward and will always remain focused on family, charity, community and friendship.
